North Side Kings are back again with their sophomore effort " A Family Affair". The boys have not spared one ounce of their trademark pride in their Italian-American background. "A Family Affair" is stuffed with tales of debtors not paying up, extravagant Sunday Italian feasts, and neighborhood white trash gone awry. Musically, NSK delivers a heavy-handed shakedown of traditional hardcore punk with plenty of catchy choruses and gang vocals. Also showcased on many tracks is a distinct street punk and rock 'n roll sound, akin to bands such as Dropkick Murphys, Anti-Heroes, and the Hudson Falcons. "A Family Affair" is an adventure into a tightly kept pocket of unity and loyalty among men who have built their life on a platform of standing their ground for their family and friends, protecting what's theirs, and eating and drinking in such amounts that could feed a small army. Grab a plate of pasta, a bottle of wine, a fresh cigar, and enjoy the fruits of the north side...
