Boys Night Out

Broken Bones And Bloody Kisses

One Day Savior 23

Released on August 20, 2002

This item is not available for purchase. Sorry!

Debut EP from this Ontario hardcore act. In an original way, they fuse great sounding pop-punk with a metallic edge. Comparisons have been made (and they're all over the map), from Grade to Glasseater to Saves the Day. Look for a full length this fall on Ferret.

I love boys night out and although this isn't the best CD is still give it a 4 because they were playing music I feel that is different then other bands at the time, and they ahve done nothing but learn from their CDs. If you are Boys Night Out fan, this is a must have especially since they have been playing alot of this CD live recently but if this is your first time buying a Boys Night Out CD I reccommend Either Trainwreck or Make Yourself Sick.

yeah this cd's really great, i fucking love it...perhaps even more than make yourself sick, both are amazing though. The only reason i'm giving this a 4 is because it's a little short, but still amazing. Anyone notice that connor has a lisp, still he's kool as fuck.

I Definitely like this record a lot more than "Make Yourself Sick" because it is more hardcore oriented. The hardcore parts are stepped up a lot on this EP, more so than their new record. BNO combines a sweet blend of sugary pop punk with hardcore screams and music like no one I've heard before. Definitely some original shit.

This is an excellent cd from a great band. At first listen, some songs might make you think of new found glory, or some poppy crap like that, but listen deeper, and pay attention to the lyrics, and you realize that, yes, over top of those wild pinch harmonics, the singer is describing some kind of perverse murder fantacy in a whiney emo tone, and I love it. Some of the darker, heavier songs are especially great, and the sound clip from "henry: portrait of a serial killer" just adds that much more to "A Torrid Love Affair". If you're a fan of cannibal corpse and dashboard confessional, this might be the perfect band for you, and even if you're not, you should still probably buy the cd, or they might follow you home one night, kill you, skin you, make a mask out of your face, and write a new song on you skin with a knife. Solid.

Boys Night Out is one of the most underrated hardcore bands out there today. After having seen them play with Underoath, I can honestly say that this band kicked my ass. Broken Bones is their best album, pulling at their hardcore roots and accompanying it with excellently done melodic vocals.

Amazing work from one of the most difinitive artists in the hardcore scene. Broken Bones and Bloody Kisses is probably one of my favorite CD's. Although not the same vein as other Hardcore/Emo artists (Poison the Well, Hopesfall) Boys Night Out takes literally the two vocal stylings and mixes them throughout their songs. From raging hardcore to weepy emo, this CD will probaly only interest you if you are a big fan of both genre's. All my hardcore friends think it's too emo, and all my emo friends think it's too hardcore. I personally, think it's perfect, but that's because I'm somewhere in the middle too. I highly recommend it to anyone who is looking to expand their horizons.

Quite frankly I don't know what I did before I heard Boys Night Out. They're one of the most fantastic bands I have ever heard.. although short, this CD is well worth the money.

A lyrical masterpeice. For fans of "Beloved", "Hopesfall" and "A Static Lullaby". One of the top three albums I heard all 2002. Lyrically genius and musically shocking.
