Epitaph / Ada 86644.2

Released on August 13, 2002

The alpha dogs of party punk are back and about as obedient as a rabid dingo. So cover your crotch, hide your children and get ready to roll over and play dead because the boys from O.C. are off the leash and ready to leave a number 2 in your favorite easy chair. This time around Guttermouth goes for the "Gusto" with 14 savory bite sized nuggets that will lead you to obey they're every command. The time is now to leave a surprise on your neighbor's ears and their lawn, so do it with Guttermouth and do it with "Gusto".

Well, I am wondering if they were inspired by Blink 182 to make this album. I mean its cool but I have never seen such a punk band go so pop. Its a great album to play at parties or whatever. If you have an open mind then you might like it, but otherwise I would recommend musical monkey or friendly people.

ehh, not too much good stuff on this cd. i like the old guttermouth better. there are a few good songs like contribution, walk of shame, and scholarship in punk, but thats about it. i would suggest getting any guttermouth cd after musical monkey

I must say that I'm a little dissapointed about this album. I expected a more wild album like they used to do in the old days, but it's not bad at all, there are some of the songs which I think is really cool and real Guttermouth style, but some of the slow songs are really boring. I love Guttermouth and all of their old stuff is fucking great, but since they signed to Epitaph their music has changed. For any Guttermouth fan out there it's a must have.
