I really wouldn't call The Drunk Injuns "state-punk". They sound more "punk-metal" to me. The music is a bit to hard to skate to, whereas on the other skate punk reissues like JFA, Free Beer or Los Olvidados I can totally shred. The music is really good, and songs like "For Real", "Heal Me", "Question Authority" and "Your Mama" are really good. Their singer sounds like Joey Ramone if he growled, and the backing music sounds like Los Olvidados conbined with Discharge-like guitars(im not talking speedwise, just how they sound). Anyway, I think its a good cd, and it is worth buying, as are all old school skatepunk bands. Get it!

kind of weird sound. The music is great, but the simger sounds like... well like Joey Ramone/the guy from tiger Army/shit all rolled into one. Not a bad listen if you feel like killing yourself.
