One of the most uncompromising ands in the world. GBH originally formed in 1979 in Birmingham, England, initially known as "Charged GBH", to avoid confusion with a band similarly named, later dropping the prefix after it was discovered no other band existed. Their first album "City Baby Attacked By Rats" was released in 1982 to critical acclaim and it's follow up, "City Baby's Revenge" released in 1983 fortified the typical GBH sound - noisy and distored hardcore punk rock. 2002 sees the release of GBH's new album "Ha Ha" as their best in years.

This record is not like their old stuff. but I quite like it. GBH have been playin for like three decades? and their live shows are still incredible. I like City Babys Revenge LP the most and to be honest you cant really compare Ha Ha with that record. but Ha Ha is still piece of solid album..and the songs sound great live. but if youre a die hard fan of their old stuff you probably wont like this...

Excellent 2002 album from GBH. Actually writing this review on my 2nd copy of the LP -- wore the first one out!!

Some of the tunes here are better than others, but overall very good. Tracks like "Falling Down" and "Crush EM" are classics that sound great live right next to all the songs you already know.

"Song for Cathy," "Punk Rock Ambulance" and "Flying High" are also great, but are (sadly) not a part of the stage set.

This album doesn't have much in common with the CITY BABY albums, but then again it aint 1983 anymore.

For those of you who want it to sound like 1983 all over again, take it from someone who was actually there -- it's time to wake up and move on...

Now, if GBH would only release their next album before the decade is over...I'll keep my fingers crossed.

This is an okay album, not bad not the great. If youve already heard GBH get this album and give it a shot, if you havent get Leather Bristles Studs and Acne, Such a better album!
