Crime In Choir

Crime In Choir

(At The Drive In, Hella, The Hades Kick)

Omnibus 33

Released on June 25, 2002

This item is not available for purchase. Sorry!

Crime in Choir features founding members of At The Drive In, Hella and The Hades Kick. Analog synthesizers, Rhodes piano, moog bass and baritone guitar make for a mathematical mixture of adventurous neu-prog from San Francisco. Featuring the incredibly technical, yet wildly free-form drumming style of Zach Hill (Hella) anchored by smooth, calculated guitar and synthesizer melodies.

This CD is completely instrumental, that was a let down. But, the drumming is amazing and it brings everything together. If you're a die hard fan of At The Drive In and need to collect everything associated with them, like me, this CD is probably worth the money. But, if you're just an average person, don't waste your money. Go buy ATDI, Sparta, or Mars Volta stuff instead.

I gave this CD three stars because I think it is a very good CD, but not worth the money for 6 tracks of instrumental. If they had a singer, it would have got a 4...maybe a 5.
