Go Kart Vs. The Corporate Giant Vol. 3

Go Kart 85

Released on November 26, 2002

$5.00
Buy

GKvs3 is the third in a series of low-priced super samplers, with almost 30 tracks from bands like Anti-Flag, Lunachicks, INDK, Leftover Crack and lots more. And it only costs five dollars! That’s less than the cost of most adult magazines. And I should know! It also comes with a neato 3D moving image cover thingy which we think is really cool, even if it has held up this release for months and months and months and months –well you get the picture.

Great CD, especially for the price. Does an awesome job of samplin' all the Go-Kart bands. Kickass bands like Plan A Project, Icons Of Filth, and Two Man Advantage got some previously unreleased songs. Plus it's got a shit load of bands I've never heard before, but they seem pretty promising. And plus, you've got Leftover Crack to help round off the disc. Hell, buying the CD is worth it just for Rock The 40oz, which is usually only available on one of LoC's 7"s. Some songs I don't give a shit about bring the review down, like the Justin Sane one, but whatever, still a great deal.

Awesome job to the guys at Go Kart Records. Over an hour of great songs by some awesome bands. My favorite bands on this CD include Anti-Flag, Justin Sane (Lead singer of Anti-Flag), Lunachicks, G.B.H, and Toxic Narcotic. The best part is that you get 30 great songs for $5! What a deal! If you really want to get a taste of what Go Kart Records makes, Buy all 3 of the Go Kart vs. the Corporate Giant CD's. It's a great investment. A must have for any Punk.

The Sick on the Bus song was Great. So was #3. Of course the anti-flag,justin sane, toxic narcotic, and leftover crack songs were awesome. It's worth the money but all the other songs suck. Especially them songs by the girl bands. They're wanna-be GoGo's who sucked anyway

5 stars just for Leftover Crack. Don't listen to what the last person said... LOC is one of the most amazing bands around now, check out all their other stuff. Of course Daycare Swindlers, Two Man Advantage, Plan A Project, INDK, and Toxic Narcotic are all friggin great as well. So yeah, get this if ya wanna hear what these bands are like.

A bunch of bands with varied sounds? Not exactly. A bunch of pretty good bands? Yes.

There's some hardcore here, and quite a bit of it. Then there's harderthanoldcatpoocore, in the form of Toxic Narcotic. Two female led bands, both of them pretty good. A few bands that I can't classify, other than to say the frontman can't sing but that doesn't matter. Then, there is a little vaguely metallic moderate stuff.

Anyway, buy it just to heard a song by Leftover Crack that won't give you a headache. It's still a pretty stupid song, though.
