New Beat

Some 20

Released on May 14, 2002

This item is not available for purchase. Sorry!

The debut album from this overly energetic trio known for their great live performances, and a track on the American Pie 2 soundtrack. A perfect blend of pure pop and aggressive early British garage punk sounds produced by DANIEL REY (Ramones, Misfits, Murphy's Law). Always on tour (college drop-outs). The Exit appears on the bonus disc for New Found Glory's limited edition "Sticks And Stones" CD.

This is a great CD. I honestly expected a Bob Marley type deal because of hearing the word "reggae" and also an 80's Britpop sound because of the whole Police comparison, but it's really not. At least not in my opinion. I'm not sure what to say, just that this band knows what they're doing. Both vocals and music are amazing. Just amazing. The singer sings with such emotion and...I have to comment on the badass drumming. There are also some very catchy melodies that you won't be able to get out of your head. So yeah, it's a pretty good CD. You probably won't be disappointed.

If your looking for a solid punk album this isn't what your looking for. All I can say is that if your in the right mood this is an amazing album. They have kind of an eighties sound and they remind of "the police or something". Completely original and unique and would suggest adding it to your collection.

For some reason I really thought this was going to be a great punk album. The Mp3 on this site is really good but the rest of the album is just blah. There a few more songs that fall into the punk catagory. However, half the cd has a real slow pace to it....the sound is very similar to the Police. Not that there is anything wrong w/ the Police, it's just that this cd is not what I expected. I think the cover art is really misleading!

If you ever heard the first couple of Police albums (no thought not) then you'll be kind of suprised as to how similar these guys sound. Don't read this wrong, they're not some retro brit-style act and don't rip off the Police but just like the aforementioned they seemlessly mix loads of styles and still make it sound easy. Pop-punk with a load of originality under the hood. Love it.

If you're at this page because you heard the song "Susan" from the American Pie 2 soundtrack & liked it..go head, buy it. I don't think there's a song on here you'll dislike if you liked "Susan." This CD will definitely be worth your 12 bucks.
