012: Revolution In Just Listening

Relapse 6426

Released on April 30, 2002

This item is not available for purchase. Sorry!

After what seems like an eternity, Coalesce releases, what many say to be, their last studio album. Nine songs of a full-on metallic barrage matched with crazy, inconceivable musicianship. Deep, thick, metallic guitars, pounding, thundering, off-time rhythms, and the patented deep growls, Coalesce still channels the same desperate levels of emotion, honesty, and creativity. The lyrical department hasn't slacked either, still the same biting, sarcastic words you have grown accustomed to loving. A masterpiece.

Brilliant. This album captures what a group of talented musicians can do when they love music. The songs are off-beat which I personally love. The guitars are raunchy and technical. The rythme section is killer. And, last but not least the vocals. The blistering sreaming fits each track perfectly. If you enjoy a talented line-up with catchy titles and beautifuly written songs. You won't want to pass up this album. It fuckin' rocks.
