Mike Park is great, and this Chinkees CD is pretty good. I was hoping it would be a little more ska-y, if that's a word. I guess I just miss Skankin' Pickle too much. The CD is pretty good overall, but it seems bland in some spots, and just very "produced."

I basically love anything Mike Park does and this album definitely has some of his best work ever. Its not as good as "Peace Thru Music" but it's damn close. A very good choice if you like good organ driven ska music with a even better message.

what can i say? the chinkees are one of my all time favorite bands. mike park is my hero, and i hope his mission of ridding the world of hate is successful. i will do my part and so should everyone else. message to everyone: support asian man records. they probably have the best message music has to offer, and that is one of peace. so please, just embrace others with love and peace. later yo.

This album wasn't what I expected, but I don't want that to be though of as a bad thibg. Its really great ska that is driven by organ solos and really great, well written, welll though out posotive lyrics. As you might or might not know, the band is called the Chinkees because they want to stare racism in the face instead of ignoring it. I found the booklet interesting as well, as they have a wonderful quote from Martin Luther Kings Jr, as well as three letters that were written to them by racists or at least people who didn't agree with what the Chinkees had to say.

Great message, great album, posotive lyrics, and great muscians. Really fun music that any ska fan would enjoy.

Fans of Operation Ivy will like this one, and they do a great cover of Bankshot.

If you like ska with a good message, Operation Ivy, or just fun music, get this album. You won't be dissapointed.

Mike Park is awesome. i saw his solo act at the 2001 take action tour and it was awesome. i've been following his career since skankin' pickle to the b. lee band to the chinkees and he always writes good fuckin tunes. You gotta buy this record it's awesome and it showcases Mike Parks upbeat and positve atitude despite all the shiz he's been through, ya gotta respect that. Mike i love ya baby, keep rockin'. oh and how about touring the with your band, man.

P.S. racist people suck, dude.
