Dirtnap 15

Released on March 19, 2002

This item is not available for purchase. Sorry!

"The best band ever that should have been on the valley girl soundtrack but wasn't" - sez some friend of Ken's, who caught their show in Seattle last week. Stunning, irresistable, impossibly catchy new wave-punk-pop with the bounciest, most energetic live show since THE BRIEFS! The guys and gal are currently the band of the moment in Seattle and Portland, playing to packed clubs at every single gig, their debut single on Dirtnap is selling like hotcakes and getting awesome reviews everywhere! Fuck the NW, this is our favorite new band ANYWHERE! Look in the dictionary under "Born Frontwoman" and there'll be a picture of vocalist Roxy Epoxy! Look in the dictionary under "Killer New Record Label" and there'll be a picture of Dirtnap! Look in the dictionary under "Satisfied Consumer" and there'll be a picture of you!

I really enjoyed this because it was mainly electro, similar to the music in old Nintendo games. It may get monotonous, but it needs to grow on you a bit. It's way happier-sounding electro than Deadsy or Action Action's first album. If you like that, get this.
