Good Life

Black Out

Saddle Creek 43

Released on March 12, 2002

CURSIVE's TIM KASHER, along with fellow Omahaians from Cursive and DESAPARECIDOS, returns with another dose of solid pop stylings. A seamlessly flowing blend of upbeat, keyboard-driven tunes and sparse, vocal-based stories of drunken disappointment, played with the standard rock instrumentation, as well as a lush variety of synths, drum machine, saxophone, cello, accordian, and vibes.

This is an amazing album, One of the most emotional albums i've ever heard. Its not "emo" though.Anyone who hasn't heard the good life needs to get all their albums, they're amazing, even better than cursive in my opinion.....and i love cursive.

This CD doesn't even need a review. It's Tim Kasher from Cursive's side project, it has AMAZING all over it. Keyboard driven rock songs from the mastermind behind Cursive. An amazing CD.

I love this CD. Tim Kasher is just amazing. This is one of those CDs you can treat as one flowing work of art instead of simply a collection of entertaining songs. It all just clicks together perfectly. O'Rouke's at 1:20 A.M. is easily my favorite cut on the CD.

Tim Kasher is amazing. this cd was not a waste of $ at all. everything this guy puts out is amazing. dont make love so hard is probably my favorite. i just saw cursive the other night and tim is now my official (sp?) hero, i cant get over how cool his voice is. i was gonna buy novena on a nocturn but this cd has more songs. i only put 4 stars cuz i think the novena might be just a tad better, but still, its a good one. well the good life is awesome and both of thier cds are awesome so you should buy em. peace out girl scout, oh ya and tom logue has a big one ;)
