Blood Brothers

March On Electric Children

Three One G 21

Released on March 5, 2002

This item is not available for purchase. Sorry!

THE BLOOD BROTHERS have always been a band that pushes themselves to the extreme: musical mayhem, bad attitudes, bad haircuts, and bad ass riffs. Strap yourself in and feel the limit. Here it is... the next chapter. Comparable to bands before them, but taking it to the next breaking point. In the vein of DRIVE LIKE JEHU, ANTIOCH ARROW, and THE CRIMSON CURSE. Nobody can avoid finding the urgency and angst displayed in the sounds produced by these five young lads and Ross Robinson... from the darkest city in the United States, Seattle. *Brand spanking new songs!

Blood Brothers rule, but...this cd is only ok. Obviously Piano Island is the best, followed by Crimes and Young Machetes. The two latter albums are missing something, but if you combine the best songs from Crimes and Young Machetes, you have an amzaing album that would overshadow Piano Island any day. This album is probably number 4 on the list of albums from blood brothers. This really only brings you back to their origins (which for the time, are pretty unique and impressive).

My favourate Blodd Brothers album. Still has that raw sound that i love about this band. If you like anything raw punk- weird-beats-screamo-in-your-face-happy-hardcore type of music, then this is for you. I can listen to this album over and over again. I also recommend "this aldultery is ripe" by the same band.

this has to be the best blood brothers release in my opinion. tighter than rlw and just better than tair. much more intense than the mellow crimes, and less polished than bpi,b. this cd is pretty hard to listen to on the first try, especially if you've only heard stuff from crimes or bpi,b. but you read the lyrics, realize how original they are and the album gets better and better with each listen. to anyone that doesn't really know what to expect from the blood brothers: spazzy, screaming dualing vocals, with random but catchy guitar riffs, almost drive like jehuesque. f***ing fast, only one maybe two songs i dislike. best song: new york slave. buy this album.

I have been a fan of Hardcore for a long time, Ive listened to everything from The Unseen to Minor threat. So I thought id give the Blood Brothers a try. I bought BPB a mite ago and gave it a listen. at first I was perturbed, I did not yet understand the genius. But on the second run through i began to understand. I said to myself "OohoOh so this is hardcore". But my life had not yet been changed.

I then purchased March on and gave that a thourough listining, suddnely my life was immediately infused with the chaotic, musical magic only the Blood Brothers can provide. This cd is a boost for your face and ears. not bad, not bad at all

In short-In. Gods. CD. Player.

After reading all the hype I picked this up. Its alright, spazzy dual vocals, abstract songwriting, spazzy music. I'll admit its a smart album but I have a hard time digging it.

Blood Brothers are one of the most creative bands out there today. This cd along with their others really prove that. The last track "American Vultures" is the zenith of the album i think. It is a good way for the album to end and the whole album is just an adventure.

where to begin, i don't see a point for a review section when it comes to the blood brothers because every album is a work of art. this cd is similar to "burn piano island, burn" in the respect that it's fast and full of screaming, but the lyrics are also beautifully written. "siamese gun" will stick in my mind as one of the greatest hardcore songs, hell songs period, ever written. i would've paid double the price, for that song alone. it's that amazing. this guys are incredible live as well and if you haven't experienced it yet then prepare to get your ass kicked, its one hell of a good time.
