Disagree with reviews below me, good solid record from the Lawrence Arms. I think its better than oh! calcutta but not better than greatest stories ever told. still a extremely good album though.

WOW. This Cd is.....TERRIBLE. I don'tunderstand how larry arms fans seem to love this cd so much! If you like these guys (i still do, but not this cd) consider Greatest Story Ever Told which is a very good cd. Skip this, it sounds like a crappy garage band.

this is not as good as any of their others. it starts out very good(tracks 1-4 are the best) but then goes weak. boatless booze cruise if it was sung by chris would be good, but somehow brenden doesnt fit. i dont know its just not that good. but porno through your gravest words are excellent. those songs are worth getting this alone

This album is somehow a mystery to me. When i don't listen to it i have the feeling it's not as strong as "Greatest Story" or "Oh! Calcutta!"... but as soon as i give it a spin this feeling disappears and i rank it immediately on par with the two above records. In any case, it's definitely a fine release by The Lawrence Arms, and worth five stars, no doubt about it.

when i first got this cd i listened to it non stop and then i got oh! calcutta and i dont listen to it much at all.... but it was a very catchy and well done....i wish brenden and chris would have sang together on more songs than splitting the songs like they did

Fantastic. This CD, while not their best is still pretty damn good. You can definately sense the transition they are about to take with their music from Guided Tour of Chicago into Greatest Story Ever Told. There is a nice mix between the sofer sides of the CD and the faster "traditional" lawrence arms. If you are a fan of the Lawrence Arms, I would definately suggest that this be in your collection.

THE LAWRENCE ARMS! COME ON! GREAT BAND! OF COURSE A GREAT ALBUM! It's sorta depressing yet still punk. You can tell by the way they play that they're a Fat band. Fat Wreck Chords for those who don't know and who are dumb cuz they don't know.

If you haven't heard Lawrence Arms yet, well... You suck. They kick so much ass. If you're into Pop-Punk or just like good music you should pick this up. Some songs with the softer singer may turn you off to it a little (it did me), but it doesn't hurt the greatness of the good songs at all. This is a great album and you'll find yourself listening to it all the time. And the crazy thing is, this may be the bands worse album! Definatley check them out, if you haven't already.
