Hey Mercedes

Everynight Fireworks

Vagrant 356

Released on October 23, 2001

This item is not available for purchase. Sorry!

Born out of an undying need to create music, Braid pioneers, Robert Nanna, Todd Bell and Damon Atkinson -with the addition of Mark Dawurst(Alligator Gun)on guitar were once again ready to set out and re-negotiate the musical journey that had once been Braid. This record features the angular guitars and syncopated drum beats that were Braid's signature style plus a new songwriting approach that has given Hey Mercedes a style of their own.

Well Braid its not. But you can hear the same indie influences that you do with Nanna's previous work, but with much more refinement. I would definately recommend this album, as well you should pick up every piece of that braid has ever done.

One of the best records I have ever heard, by one of the best bands in the genre. This is the ideal LP to have because the sound comes across perfectly over a turntable. Pick it up right now! And if you don't have a record player, get the cd, do yourself a favor!

awesomness from three former members of braid. it's more like.. well-recorded braid thats been slowed down a bit, and boy does it rock. hey mercedes is one of my favorite bands, and I urge getting their two EPs as well. highlights of this record are Every Turn, Havent Been This Happy, Quit, and Lets Go Blue.
