way more chilled out and melancholy than 'Emergency & I', but still just as sweet. Travis Morrison is a great writer. there's not a whole lot you can say about the Plan. if you know them and don't have this, check it out. if you've never heard them, get 'Emergency & I' first, then this. my favorite tracks are "following through", "the other side", and "sentimental man".

Mic(pronounced fucking Mick dammit!) From Fort Wayne(studly?) no, no, no, this is some of the boring music I have ever heard in my stupid life. Every time I think about how much I spent on this cd, I get like that really sick feeling in my stomache, sort of like the kinda feeling you get when ever you think about the time you wrecked your dad's car and he almost kicked your ass becuase you were drunk and your friend puked all over his Jonny Cash cd's and your mom said that you were really irresponsibile and your girlfriend called you a bastard becuase you were so blantantly irresponsible. This is a really bad cd, it does not belong on interpunk, the thing is the guy has the most annoying voice in the world it is like that Dave Matthews guy decided to be in an EVEN WORSE band (yeah it is that fucking bad!) I am feeling really sick right now to my stomache and I lost my voice it has been gone this whole weekend. This is getting to long and interpunk will delete this (but it is really about the band!). Anyway the guy writes uninspired stream of conciouse lyrics that hell, I bet he took 5 minutes to write up each song, every song has the same background noise (it isn't even music in my opinion). Look I try to be all indie at times but I don't think I will anymore becuase if this is what indie music is, I don't want my ears to be poisioned by it anymore. Even MXPX sounds better than this shit! I am not the sort of person who starts fights or beats people up, but I swear to whoever that I would punch each band member in the fucking face for making me waste 12.50 on the cd, and any misguided individual who thinks this is good. I am never going to see this again am? Next time I will research a cd before I BUY IT! AHHHHHHHHH

a solid rock cd. it is not emergancy and i, but it holds it own. the song "time bomb" twists my tit just right. the drumbs on this record blow me away. pick this up for something new and different.

Okay, so I read a local write up of these guys. It mentioned Inner Ear Studios. Sounded interesting. I bought it...what a great decision. This record is full of great abstract lyrics, excellent free form song structures and a hell of a lot of heart. I hate to compare but it's kinda like a genetic son of a record between Fugazi and Red House Painters. I think these fellas from D.C. got it completely right. "Change" is truly a complete album with movement, poise, excitement and always something cool happening. Phenomenal.
