The Hellnation and Nice View tracks are nasty! Pick this up if you like power-violence or grind. It's a pretty good mix of bands.

this is an amazing comp, 8 awesome power violence/whatever bands every song on here is crazy and will have you bleeding from your ears in minuets. each band is unique which allows the cd to sound divers without giting old, or making it fell over played. defiantly pick this one up, the only downside to it is trying figure out how to remove it from your cd player!

Spazz, Charles Bronson, Fuck on the beach! If you like any of those bands get this. Of course, the songs aren't only available on this comp. But why not have them all together?
Amazing.
check out: vol.2, 3, and 4

Yeah! Fast, grinding and never too long. I'm listing the bands in order of quality, starting with best: Flash Gordon, Spazz, F.ck on the Beach, Nice View, Charles Bronson, Capitalist Casualties, Real Reggae, Hellnation. It's more powerviolence than grindcore, so at least it's mildly melodic. 44 cool tracks, most of which are good. You'll keep coming again and again to get your eardrums beaten in a good way.

SMOK-ING!
This is one of the greatest comps ever to drill my eardrums.
Filled with enough powerviolence to make you want to KILL. but you really shouldn't do that. From the insanely fast and frenzied riffs of Flash Gordon, from Japan (yes yes, rock on rock on), to the essential live tracks of Charles Bronson, which by the way is just absolutely GLORIOUS, this CD is a must have for any fan of Hardcore Punk, thrash, or powerviolence. i mean come on, look at the bands on this thing!! all of them heavy hitters no doubt. any comp with Spazz and Charles Bronson together is a freaking no brainer. Ands... it has Capatilist Casualties, HellNation, Fuck on the Beach, and some other ones that i forget right now that are just as GLORIOUS.
the Capitalist Caualties and Fuck on the Beach tracks are my personal favs. Oh so GLORIOUS...no i'm not talking about Jesus kind of Glorious.
Rock on

All of the bands on this comp are awesome with very good tracks to back them up. My favorite are Flash Gordon, Capitalist Casualties, Hellnation, Spazz, Fuck on the Beach, and Real Reggae. The rest of the tracks still rip and the worst of this would be Charles Bronson because its live, but its still good. A definite buy for more current punk hardcore.

This is a decent compilation of fast hardcore. Its pretty lo-fi and very fast and thrashy. A few years ago this may have been called "power-violence", but to me its just fast hardcore. Sound Pollution put this together like a USA meets Japan hardcore contest. Four Japanese bands and four American bands. Flash Gordon and Nice View were the stand out bands for me and they are both Japanese. Charles Bronson is by far the weakest one on here. The silly and annoying crowd sounds pumped in between their songs made their contribution even worse. Capitalist Casualties are also on here and I like their last song "Tract House" the best because of how slow it is, which really works with all the thrashing insanity found here. This was originally pressed as four split 7"s and this is the CD reissue. Its a good value for the bands you get and considering the vinyl versions are probably out of print now that only increases the draw to this release. A good compilation of fast hardcore, but not totally essential.

This cd is a landmark album and should be put on one of vh1's lists. Japan and the U.S's finest thrash/hardcore/grindcore/powerviolence. Flash Gordon is a very funny and awesome musical sloppiness. Capitalest Casualties are probobly the finest band. They are pure hardecore witha credulous vocalist who peels the paint off my walls with every listen. Next is Nice View, who have some greatness but never really wowed me with heroics. Hellnation is a better version of Nice View, who have some awesome album covers.Spazz follows Hellnation with a triple vocal assultthat can be compared to clash of the titans. Fuck on the Beach is after with their own answer to the hardcore call. Real Reggae represents the most diverse band. They blend some "real reaggae" into their set. Next comes Charles Bronson. The songs on here are the same from the the C.B cd. I think it is slayer talking but dont quote me. That wraps up the entire cd. It is great and if you n masturbate really fast then get it, try it out. Peace out. Oh and my band The Runs is coming along so check out your local shows for three weirdos. Our demo, The Runs as in diahrrea is out so ask andrew for it if you see me.
