Typical Lookout comp. Donnas, Common rider, The Lillingtons, Screeching Weasel, MTX, The Queers rock. The rest are Ok.

This CD was very "blah". I ordered it specifically for the Alkaline Trio and Eyeliners songs. Ted leo and the Pharmicists and Ann Baretta were good. It is like all other comps. It gets three stars because despite the good songs, Bratmobile and the donnas are horrible. Any alkaline trio fans, if you want hell yes, get another year on the streets vol. 2. I think it has it plus "the Metro".

I generally don't like compilations, but boy did this change my mind. Now I really don't like compilations. This sucked my ass. I got it cause there was an Alkaline Trio song, which ruled, but The Mr.T Exp was also good. The rest of this really sucked, and lookout is signing some dumbasses. There's some fucked up techno on here too. I bet lookout would sign bon jovi if they could. Fuck lookout records and fuck Gilman Street. I hate everything.

This is a Lookout! records sampler with 26 songs and some special video that I can't get to work. First of all if you like Lookout! bands then you'r gunna like this. I myself like some and could care less about others. All in all this is a pretty good comp. Nothing on here totally sucks so you can actually listen to the bands you're unfamiliar with and decide if they're for you. This is Lookout! so most of this is on the poppy-Ramones-ish side, but there are some exceptions to this rule. The Standout bands are as fallows: American Steel, Black Cat Music, The Eyeliners, Ann Beretta, Common Rider, Screeching Weasel, and Alkaline Trio. All of these songs can be found on other lookout! releases, so unless your looking to find a new band to listen to, buy the releases by the bands you like instead.

Not as good as the first Lookout! Freakout, but does have some good songs on it. If you are a lookout fan, buy this cd. Otherwise, it doesn't have many new things to offer.
