I heard the sample for the full length, and liked it, but decided to get this cheaper 7" instead. It's pretty cool, but it just doesn't sound that good to me.

This is a pretty good 7". The songs are good, but after getting the new album I realized these songs are the mediocre ones from the full length. Think the Blood Brothers mixed with a jazzier/folkier band like Dance Disaster Movement or even Jets to Brazil. But man, that cover is crazy.

Johnny Whitney can make anything sound good. I only wish that I could hear more of this, but with the Blood Brothers releasing an afuckingmazing record (Burn Piano Island, Burn) on a major label, I'm sure Johnny will have way to much on his hands to get back together with the Soiled Doves. The best of luck to the boys in the Blood Brothers. They deserve any and all the success that comes their way.
Oh yeah, since I really didn't mention anything about this 7", go buy it now- you won't be sorry.

smooth. i bought this because i heard that a member of THE BLOOD BROTHERS was involved. it turns out it's johnny, and he's singing...more. which is a good thing. a very good thing. the two songs on this record are thrashin'. no "g". thrashin' . so if you're a fan of the above stated (i.e. the blood brothers, and awesome music) then i definatly recomend this nifty record.
plus the cover art is great. actually, now that i say it...the cover art is creepy.
