Very solid, more mellow CD. I had never heard these guys before, but being a huge get up kids fan, i had to give it a shot. You can def. hear a get up kids influence, but its for the most part more laid back. The keyboards are excellent and the guitars are softer and melodic. The vocals arent amazing, but they are easily tolerable. I think the average indie rock/get up kids fan will thoroughly enjoy this, so if that includes you, give it a shot.

a really unique album. you can hear elements of classic rock, pop, midwestern indie rock and a little get up kids influence on this album. buy this if you want to hear something a little different than typical "emo".

this is a strange record and something which i really like but don't know why. the kind of thing that if you played it round your grandmas she'd probably think you had raided her record collection. don't get me wrong, this doesn't sound like nat king cole or boney m and you can see the get up kids influence a mile away but this is really hard to define. basically six pop songs with a kind of saves the day meets brandtson feel when at their most radio friendly.

Didn't quite know what to expect when I picked up this album. In the end I just really can't get into it. Something just seems to be missing.
