The correct name of this band is The Oi! Scouts. Their first release was Squiggy/The Oi! Scouts 7" on Squigtone Records in 1997. Their next three and final releases were Blind Society/The Oi! Scouts 7" on Squigtone Records in 1998, Strength In Numbers 7" on Charged records in 1998, and Boots For The Beatdown CD in 1999. Strength In Numbers 7" is a perfect example of Street Punk and Oi! Punk. They are not together anymore but deffinetly check out their member Gabe Zander and his solo music on his Myspace and Website.

Oi! Scouts are a really great streetpunk band. Too bad they didnt release a lot more shit(other than two splits and a cd.) great 7" though.

Alright I gave it a four because its catchy and fun. It's kinda like that classic piece that a lot of people have and no one knows why. I'm glad i bought it and wish they would of stayed together long to see what they could of done. But let's be honest to ourselves the screams of generic street punk shine through very easily, and thats its greatest down fall because its got everything a street punk album "should"... which almost makes its seem like it was made to fill a mold.

This thing is classic. If you like Chaos UK get this cause it is a lot like it but with vocals that sound more like the FU's or something.

Not bad but not very good. Very generic street punk, if you like the casualties then you'll probably like these guys.

If you like fast, loud, obnoxious and insane streetpunk this is for you. The 7" has got to have some of the catchiest sing-a-long chorus's out there coupled with great (fast and simple) riffs and bratty-as-hell vocals makes this record a terrific buy. They're not breaking any new ground, but it sure as hell is fun to listen to. Best Track on the album is oi! punx... in other words, the poll is wrong.
