Very resemblent of thier newest release. But this CD is quite good. They have yet to put out an album that is below quality. I can listen through this cd without feeling i need to skip a track, because all of the songs are really good. "I was wrong" and "Crown of Thorns" are some of the highlights of the cd.

With all the talk over how Social D suppossedly sold out and all that hoopla, it seems the music they make is forgotten. Mike Ness is an incredible lyricist and this cd is not an exception. Songs that talk of the horrible condition of the world, but still somehow managing to maintain some hope. Really its just an incredible cd from an equally incredible band, and i know my inarticulate and gramatically incorrect rambling doesn't tell you much, but take my word for it. Its Worth the money.

Ohhhhh Jesus. Only a few words would do this album justice and "masterpiece" starts to do the job. Such an amazing album. I downloaded this months ago and liked--loved it-- so much that I've decided to buy the real thing. "Through These Eyes" makes me want to cry about every time I hear it. Again, Mike Ness et al doing amazing work. This is my favorite Social D album. Buy it.

A really great album!Mike Ness writes the best lyrics I have ever heard! stuff about life and death and fucking!Melodic riffs, really catchy choruses that you won't be able to get outta your head...People say he sings with a passion that's unbelievable and that I can guarantee you...sooo this is no anarco-wannabe punkcore shit!...This is just punk rock and make no mistake about it.

If you really like this kind of punk rock then check out turbonegro's apocalypse dudes album!...really awesome stuff or maybe even the almighty ADOLESCENTS!

This CD is one of the best I've ever heard. Mike Ness's voice is amazing, and lyrics are great. I can't stop listening to it.. I dont think this will leave my CD player for a long, long time. If you don't have it already, GET IT NOW! Any Social Distortion fan NEEDS this CD right now! It is soo good.

Well as Mike Ness said "Sorry, we don't have any happy songs" This album lives up to just that. With it's foreshadowing tone of spiraling depression it still puts out good music. You can feel the emotion with every guitar chord and every line Mike Ness belts out. One of the most passionate albums I've ever heard. This is what music is about. With lyrics fueled by Ness' painful past this album struck a chord in me as well. Hearing "I was wrong" gave me goosebumps and my other favorite "Don't drag me down" is more upbeat and triumphant. I recommend this album to anyone who has ever been down on his luck or has had a broken heart or a rough childhood. And if you only like to listen to happy, upbeat music, then steer clear of this one.

I didn't much like this CD at first, but it definately grew on me. It barely ever leaves my cd player anymore. It is more rock and roll with only a tiny bit of punk, but it rocks all the same.
