This is a great album. It's a different punk style to any other album I own. I love Hot Water Music and i was told that if i love them, i would love these guys. The music is a bit simular but the singing isn't as husky. Its a great cd and i highly recomend it. Each time i listen to the album i appreciate it more and more.

This is my fav SBB record. It hits alot of nerve for me. Everytime I hear it, I get chills from head to toe. There are only a few records out there that do that for me and tis is one of them.

I bought this cd because I was told it sounds alot like Hot Water Music. While there are simularities, HWM does have a much better sound than Small Brown Bike. The cd is good but gets boring the more I listen to it.

Not an incredible cd, not a bad cd. There's not a lot to say about it. Sounds kind of like Hot Water Music, just less good.

This is not their best, but it is very good. Thier CD's do not do them justice. They are always compared to one time No Idea label mates HWM. Like HWM they are meant to be heard live and loud as hell, but the two dont sound much alike. SBB is faster and less creative lyrically and musically. This record was faster than some of their other work. Check out there first CD if you are checking them out for the first time. Worth the money though...

A record from No Idea cannot be bad. I'm almost sure about that. But it doesn't mean it has to be a kick ass record neither. I pretty agree with the guy below me in any case.

SBB. What an awesome band. Buy the first one first though. It's better than this one. It didn't take long for me to get into thier first release. When I threw this one in, I just wanted to listen to the old one. I ended up forcing myself to listen to this one a few times to see if it would grow on me, considering the money I spent. It still makes me want to listen to the first one.

Fan of Hot Water Music? Fan of fun? Well then you should probably check out this LP or one of SBB's other releases. They are sort of like Hot Water Music on speed. Yet while Hot Water Music tends to write their songs very poetically and ambiguously (oh yeah, I am that smart) Small Brown Bike seems to have more of a simplistic and straight forward feel. I feel so cliche comparing this band to HWM though, so just buy the album and write a better review. Oh and check this band out at Warped Tour.

This cd is better than any cd in your collection...i promise you that. SBB is the best hardcore-emo-rock band you will ever here. the dual vocals kick ass and though this band prolly listened to a lot of Hot Water Music when they were younger, they do it 10 times better. check out track 3 with a guest vocal from their friend in the casket lottery (another excellent band). buy this cd now before your friend does and be the coolest indie kid on the block!

I first heard of SBB when I read about them in a magazine, and they got good reviews. I have also heard about these guys being compared to Hot Water Music, and being a big fan of HWM I decided to get it. They don't really sound like HWM, they have their own category as well as HWM does. They play this kind of punk and hardcore with touches of melody. Very good though. It features backing vocals by the guys from Casket Lottery and Keleton DMD. Stop wasting your time reading my boring review and buy the damn CD, I guarentee you'll like it.
