How it Feels definitely has a unique sound to it, just how every Sunny Day album does. This album is more indie, slower sounding. And you can sense the transition of Jeremy's voice, he is starting to use his falsetto a lot more and his voice is definitely maturing. The track "The Shark's Own Private Fuck" is sort of different than you would expect from SDRE, especially the lyrics, but it's still good. Roses In Water is the only track that doesnt really appeal to me that much. The Prophet may have a repetitive and, at times, annoying intro, but once the whole band breaks in, it's amazing. Buy this for someone just getting into Sunny Day.
