This record is absolutely amazing. All songs in the vein of Jawbreaker about cigarettes and misery that hit a soft spot in the heartstrings. This isn't emo at all, this is what good, mature punk sounds like. The Connie Dungs were an amazing band, whether they were writing poppy, goofy songs or albums like this. If you don't pick this up, you're pretty much a moron.

I normally dont review items I buy from interpunk but I dont want anyone making the same mistake as me. Most people recommend this album as an intoduction to the Dungs. This is a great album by one of my favorite artists but not thier best and does not fully represent them in my opinion. Going from this album to an earlier release is quite a big step. If your looking for a fast paced snotty sound (thats what I was looking for) buy an earlier realese. This is much slower and emotionaly driven with deeper lyrics but still a solid release.

I used to be a huge fan of the Connie Dungs & pop-punk in general. This CD is definately a departure. The songs are more complex and the lyrics are way darker. Reminds me of Jawbreaker. You can tell Brandon listened to Dear You quite a bit.

This album by the Connie Dungs was awesome! The best connie dungs album I've heard yet and I've heard "Driving on Neptune", this one, and their self titled. Great vocals and great guitars. Every song on this album is a hit.

Wow. I'd never hear them before, and all I'd read were review saying that they thought the singer's voice ruined the band. They were wrong! This is an AWESOME CD!!! One of my new favorites! Great songs, great music, and after getting used to it, great voice! Classic album! Recommended to everyone!!! Don't miss this one!

I lost my original copy of this disc but recently purchased another because I fucking love it so much. Everytime I hear this CD it makes me want to go chain smoke a pack of cigarrettes somewhere cold and lonely. Very dark, sad songs, yet hopeful with beautifully written lyrics. "Extremely catchy pop hooks" would barely do these songs justice. With snotty vocals (think Lawrence Arms or Joey Vindictive), addicting guitar riffs, and a solid rhythm section, the Connie Dungs may be one of my favorite pop-punk bands of all time. Buy this album and listen to it all winter long while you smoke out by the railroad tracks, thinking of your ex-girlfriend.

Ya Hey, Connie Dungs are really catchy and have excellent lyrics. It is dark and most anyone can relate to it.

An entire album about obsessing over ones ex-girlfriend. This record is simply brilliant. Brandon Dung is a clever lyricists(his ex's name was Myken, and in two of the songs he spells out here name like "Magical Yummy Kisses Every Night"). This is a haunting, dark, disturbed, emo-ish pop-punk record that in my opinion, ranks among the greatist of all time.
