Victor Rice At Version City

Stubborn 8

Released on January 1, 1999

This item is not available for purchase. Sorry!

If you like Victor Rice already, you are going to love this album! Lots of great skaish dub sounds coming from a great line up of musicians. Featuring Edward Ocampo on Drums, Victor Rice on Bass, Jayson Jugent on Guitar, Victor Ruggiero on Organ, Buford O'Sullivan on Trombone, David Hillyard on Tenor Sax and Paul Gebhardt on Alto Sax. The Scofflaws and The Slackers meet Victor Rice should be the name of this album!

This is unbeleivably good.Anyone who like the New York Ska sound of late will be impressed. There's a bunch of your favorite Slackers here like Vic and Mr. Hillyard among others, this guy has put together one hell of a band .Not alot of vocals on the album and thats cool it doesnt need them.A fantastic dub reggae sound that I played 4 times the first day I got it in the mail. I havent been this pleased with an album like this since the Stubborn 2
