Missed The Boat (old)

Cold Feet 1

Released on June 12, 2006

This item is not available for purchase. Sorry!

This may not be "My Brain Hurts" or "Love Songs For The Retarded," but it just might be as close as you'll get to classic pop/punk in 2006. The Steinways have that uber-catchy post-Ramonesy style down pat but throw just enough twists into the mix- zippy synth riffs, girly backup vocals, and Grath Madden's infectiously warm and inviting vocals - to set these Queens kids apart from the pop/punk pack. -Jim Testa

teenage bottlerocket and so many other power pop punk bands do this sound so much better and so much funnier. this is like 21 songs and 20 minutes or some shit like that. come on now, put some time into a record. it's fun to listen to, but i wouldn't buy it if i could i had the chance again.

fun, fun, fast and furious pop punk from New York. if you like ergs, for science, queers, leftovers, weston, dirt bike annie, and the unlovables pick this up. with lyrics like "you're so pretty, you're so asian. kiss me baby, im caucasian" ha, ha, you can't go wrong. restart the nerdcore revolution!

I have not heard a pop-punk record this good since 1999's Lillington's "Death By Television" LP. These days I hear all about these bands like The Leftovers, Copyrights, Unlovables etc. But those guys HAVE NOTHING on The Steinways. Maybe that whole Queen's infulence is rubbing off on them. This is such a great album with funny lyrics and catchy hooks. The Pop-Punk genre is still alive, if you don't believe me get this album now.
