“Divorce Songs” is the debut full-length from United States. Hailing from Brooklyn NY, this group of punk and indie vets play a Washington D.C. inspired mix of dissonance and feedback laced melodic punk. “Divorce Songs” is 8 jagged anthems reflecting the bands New York City environment, their lives surviving in the city, struggling in the city, learning in the city and just about being sane. “Divorce Songs” is comparable to Sonic Youth circa “Sister”, Moss Icon, Fugazi and Cursive. Their pedigree is outstanding, featuring members of underground national punk bands The Assistant (Alone Records), The Insurgent (Traffic Violation Records/Square Of Opposition), Bent Outta Shape (Black Noise/Recess), Ringers (1234Go!), The Scent Of Human History (McCarthyism/Waking) and Sometimes Walking Sometimes Running (Traffic Violation). Vinyl version co-released by Rok Lok Records (USA) and Life In A Box Records (UK).
