Telegraph, (originally known as The Skolars), was one of the seminal Detroit bands that helped define the third wave of Ska. This record, originally released in 1998, features 4 songs taken from two different phases of the band and features original artwork by Aaron Cometbus. It is quite possibly, one of the hardest releases to track down that features Aaron’s art. Telegraph’s influence on the Detroit scene should not be overlooked. At various times in the band’s career it contained members that went on to bands such as Alkaline Trio(Derek Grant), Mustard Plug/Uncle Kracker(Matt Van) as well as Live Til You Die(Jeffrey Sanguis/Mark Penxa). Only 1000 copies were ever pressed.
