Nothing Left To Lose

Last Battle Hymn

(Queen City Saints)

Zero Youth 8

Released on November 1, 2005

This item is not available for purchase. Sorry!

Nothing Left To Lose has always maintained an undying DIY ethic that combines integrity, honesty, hard work, and friendship. From their humble origins within small town America these five kids have garnered acclaim from some of America's largest cities. Enter The Last Battle Hymn (Zero Youth Records 2005) --the latest release from the Midwest's most elite. The development of the new record was a solid process of creativity, hope, maturity, while on a quest of broadening the horizons of the groups' musicianship. The Last Battle Hymn comes roaring in with melodic hardcore punk anthems that beg the listener to sing a long! With songs like: Ghost Town, My America, and Revolution--it's virtually impossible to deny the political overtones of the music. Not to be pigeon-holed as a political group though, Nothing Left To Lose has brought so much more to the lyrical aspect of their music. Aspects that create and maintain the band: hope, integrity, honesty, and friendship.

Awesome mix of punk and hardcore fast all the way through with an original sound always hard to find a good so called 'punk' banned without numerous slow and soft emo songs. good buy.

This record is solid as all else. Great melody and harmonies throughout while still maintaining a raw edge and tenacity that most bands seem to lose when they've been around as long as this band has. These songs will stay lodged in your head for days on end and you'll just want to listen to this record more and more.

I was blown away when I recieved my copy of this album. My expectations were blown away within the first minute. They remind me a bit of Bad Religion and that is definitely a good thing.

I am glad these guys released this caliber of an album! It definitely makes the midwest look a bit better.

Great record!
