Death Riders

Soundtrack For Depression

(features Blasko of Rob Zombie and Jonny Coffin founder of Coffin Case)

Horror High 705

Released on August 9, 2005

This item is not available for purchase. Sorry!

Based out of Venice, California - This disturbing alliance features Blasko, of Rob Zombie, and Jonny Coffin, founder of Coffin Case. Infectious and aching, you'll want to hop on this funeral precession racing down the highway to hell, soaking you with vocals that of the voices heard in a maniac's head. The Death Riders bring to you Hardcore Monster Surf Punk, their own brand of musical melodic horror with the release "Soundtrack For Depression".

Mexican Radio makes this album a gem. I'm not a (big) fan of Rob Zombie's music, this cd kind of transcends but keeps the creepiness factor. I think the album description is misleading however, being this is closer to Powerman 5000 or even the Zombie band as a whole, rather than surf punk influenced... Not a bad album overall; get wasted and listen to it.

Just got this in the mail, and it doesn't dissapoint! Great mix of coffin sounds for a surfing horror ride to death.
