The discography of Louisville, Kentucky’s cherished Red Sun. This CD includes 20-songs that span the bands 5 year existence. Red Sun attracted some of the largest audiences Louisville had seen in years and were known for their backbreaking DIY ethic. Very intelligent, at times philosophical, lyrics backed by rocked out guitars and drums reminiscent of later Black Flag. They stayed busy all the time between local and out of town shows and late night flier runs that literally covered the whole city. Such is the story of many great bands, Red Sun imploded before they reached their full nationwide potential. This CD is the perfect document of their career complete with a 20-page booklet full tour photos, lyrics, stories and antecdotes written by the band, and a collage of all their handmade fliers. Members went on to be in Lords, Bodyhammer, The Glasspack, Vo La Tik and Chroma.
