Purchased for Teenage Bottlerocket for obvious reasons and discovered another great band Bill the Welder. I thought I knew what I was getting when I purchased this; an amazing set of Punk Rock songs from TBR which was very true, but the unexpected was BTW which had an amazing follow up pair of Punk Rock songs to make this an essential split 7.

Pretty good 7 Inch. I bought it for TBR but the BTW songs are good as well. The TBR songs are the popier songs on the record with the first singer singing, before Kody joined.

This isn't half as good as the teenage bottlerocket prototypes split. The teenage bottlerocket songs are good, not great but good. If I didn't really like the lillingtons and I heard these two teenage bottlerocket songs without knowing any past history of cody lillington I would think this band isn't so hot. So don't get this unless you really like all things lillings/teenage bottlerocket. Also Bill The Welder sucks. Oh it is so bad, the prototypes were pretty cool, but on this split I don't know what happened, maybe some member of BTW is related to a guy in TBR but shit man, its horrible. Its just really bad wanna be kinda garage ramones core, i dont even know what to call it, its more like bad-punk-core. Just bad.
