A lot of people were down on this "comeback album" when Lethal Records released it back in '95 because original vocalist Marc Martin had been replaced by Jeff Porter which seems kinda nit picking since both Porter and Martin share a similar vocal style. Musically China White don't stray too far from their earlier material (though it is decidely more uptempo and you can really notice that on the reworked versions of the two tracks from their Danger Zone EP). This is exactly what you would expect from China White: Metal laced first wave Huntington Beach hardcore punk. The real "gems" here are the two unreleased studio tracks ("F.U.C.K.U." and "That Blows") from '97. Also included are 10 live tracks recorded from a 2003 gig in Long Beach which is worth a cursory listen. Get it for the studio material. Recommended for both first time listeners and die-hard fans. Cudos to Malt Soda for re-releasing this.
