Malt Soda does it again with this "budget" release of live and demo tracks by Huntington Beach's China White. The sound quality varies a little from show to show but is good overall. The demo tracks are a nice touch. Packaged in a cardstock jacket and polybagged, the disc also comes with a sticker and an insert with a near (but not quite)complete listing of all their shows. You'll also need Quick Time to view the two videos. My only complaint is Marc's intentionally goofy vocals on their cover of Motorhead's "Ace Of Spades". If you're a fan of China White's metal laced hardcore, this should definitely be in your collection. If you're looking to check them out for the first time, I'd suggest their Addiction 2 album (also on Malt Soda).

This CD is worth it alone for the 2 demo sessions tracks recorded prior to the Danger Zone 45 release. The live tracks are recorded very well in fact I like some of these live versions better than the actual original 45 versions.
