Featured song is track #2, by the Big Island’s Pepper (Volcom Entertainment), contributing a song off their rare debut album. Pepper is currently blazing a trail on commercial radio here in Hawaii as well as the mainland where they have held a coveted spot on the annual Vans Warped Tour for many years, and counting! Poised to explode onto the charts with their 3rd full-length: release date in ‘04.
Other highlights include No Bare Feet, a band from Kailua that has toured the mainland twice so far and opened for several larger acts. Also from Kailua is

Hawaii bands that have permanently moved over to the mainland include The Caps, Cringer, and also Mr. Orange Undercover. Cringer went on to sign
a deal with Lookout! Records which launched the
career of the internationally known group, Green Day.
