On their stunning debut full-length, Richmond, VA's Stop It!! somehow manage to mirror the complexities of human life, composing captivating songs that represent the ups and downs of our existence: from uplifting and enthusiastic moments of happiness to the most dark and depressing pits of our hearts, all conveyed through their own powerful style of rock music. Dual shouted and yelled vocals accompany frantic yet jangly guitars, intricate base lines and manic drumming; superbly held together in precisely delivered and very interesting songs. These tunes can easily make you want to stone out and then without warning make you want to dance all depending on the mood created. It's really quite impressive, as they mix the best elements of heavy rock music with far more melodic mellow music to create a truly refreshing form of organized chaos. And while this is often upbeat, it is truly dark music at its finest.
