this is a pretty good book, it reads well, except somtimes it feels like ol'charlie goes to far into details of little things, but the book is good, it gives you dates and places instead of chapter titles and lets you follow a few storylines at once
if you want a good book though i'd suggest getting romalotti's salad days first, that book blew me away

I absolutely love Charles Romalotti. Rash was my favorite story, the ending was really...interesting. I wouldn't reccomend this book for your grandma, but if you're into writers that color outside the lines pick this up and give it a look over.

This book was amazing. I loved it to death! It really effected how I thought of and saw other people. People that apppeared to be better of then I was. But not better off in the sense you might think. I'm talking they live the surreal life, a life I would love to experience. I hope people read this book and enjoy it as much as I did.

This is a very well written and fast paced book, with a lot of induvidual references to different punk things to give it more of a gutterpunk feel than your standard horror story. Punks, goths, S&M, and skinheads... what more do you really want in a story. I would definately recommend Pariah as opposed to the separate books in the series. Its the exact same book, its easier to carry, and unless you're a collector or something there's no reason to buy 3 books instead of 1. I have not read Salad Days, but that is next on my list. Romalotti is a great fuckin author.
