this is a great collection of 7"s and such of pop-punk by dead letter dept, (aka the stiffs), from toronto. anyone who loved their album on underground operations should pick this up as well, as their earlier material shows great talent and catchy songs. i'm glad i caught these guys before they split.

For those of you who don't know, Dead Letter Dept is an awesome power-pop-punkish band. They've been around for a long time and this release pretty much summarizes their career span up to this point. The cd is in reverse chronological order, starting off with the 3 tracks from their split 7 inch with Left Behind, then their 5 song cd ep, then an unreleased track, then their first album back when they were known as the Stiffs. They're from my area (Toronto), and after seeing them play several times and watching them progress, I'd say they're nothing short of extreme awesomeness. It took a couple of listens for me to really get into some of the songs, but once I caught on to their great melodies and tightness, I orgasmed all over my room! BUY THIS NOW!
