Calling Blue Skies

Thanks To You

Downfall 1008

Released on May 3, 2003

This item is not available for purchase. Sorry!

"They’ve combined sounds, experimented, and concocted something that stands apart, independent from the crowd. The vocals are gorgeous; full of emotion, energy, and rawness. The guitars are melodic and clever whether strummed in unison or broken down into their own parts. And the rhythm is sure to keep your head bobbing until you feel motion sick. These guys can speed it up, slow it down, or settle for the middleground" -

This CD was good. I liked it a lot, but something about it just rubbed me the wrong way. I would still recommend it though.

I bought this CD because people handed out there 2 song demo at a thursday concert at the metropol in pittsburgh. I liked the demo but the songs on the demo were a lot better than the songs on the CD. This CD is a very mediocre CD. It has good part and bad parts. The best songs are when everything falls and thanks to you.

This album is a great variety of different styles all wrapped into one. The singer at times portrays lead singer Bert from The Used. Although the music isn't as heavy. At times a quiet sound, at others very strong and positive.

I'm glad I bumped into this while looking through the "new releases" section. I am definitely pleased with the album. Even if it is a little more raw, you have to appreciate that kind of sound to enjoy this album.
