Rock For Beginners

Indiestry Standard 1

Released on October 31, 2002

Girlband attacks!! ...with a southern california-skate-punk-vengeance faster and more furious than Vin Diesel! 13 bone-crushingly hard, neck-breakingly fast tracks topped over with smooth and rich vocal harmonies and tight guitar melodies that will ensure this one stays in your CD player for weeks. With "Rock For Beginners", Girlband presents an album that has a totally original style and feel that lasts over the entire length of this terrific album; and they achieve this feat in the same "punk-genre" that has spawned so many cheezy imitators. It's no wonder Girlband have been topping the charts ( punk)! Fans of NOFX, Propagandhi, F.Y.P and other tight, fast and powerful bands should definitely check out this awesome new CD. We think they're one of the best new punk bands out there today. Check it out!

This CD is awesome. A few of the tracks are weird but it's okay. You can't beat the quality for the price with a stick. They're catchy as hell, and it's cheap. What an awesome combination. I highly recomend it.

Not as good as I was expecting, but still not bad. If you like skate punk/ emo, this cd is perfect for you. It wasn't as much emo as I had hoped, but you should still buy this cd. For $2 you really can't go wrong. The best song was probably "Mypos."

It's a great album from one of the best underground bands. A sense of skate-punk with fast melodies and a emo kind of sound can be expected from this Cd. All songs are really awesome. "Gesundheit" and "You Suck" can be weakest songs on this album. Because Steve tried to make brutal vocal, which is irritating. We recommend you to buy this album! It's fucking great and CHEAP!
