This album is pretty hit or miss, in my opinion. Some songs are really awesome, like Dementia, while others feel like filler. I guess if you're really into the band you'll love it, but I only like about half of the album.

I find it strange how many fans of hardcore are unfamiliar with this band. They've been releasing quality, high energy hardcore punk for ten plus years now. Its hard to be original using the formula that Out Cold has perfected, but there is enough hooks and interesting aspects to set this one aside from previous albums. Fast, bitter, old style hardcore that adds unique modern aspects to break up the monotony of straight up old style hardcore. Considering they came around in the early '90s its very refreshing to hear a band playing tradition punk influenced hardcore as opposed to metalic mosh-core that was so popular at that time. This band has made a name for themselves by touring relentlessly and continuing to release quality music. For fans of Kill Your Idols, Lifes Halt, Poison Idea, Negative Approach and Minor Threat.

Really tight muscular sounding (if such a thing is possible) Boston style hardcore. Really intense throughout with no let up in pace or quality. Not exactly an original sound (everyone says SSD but everyone says that about everything at the moment)but when its done this well then who cares? Not me! Buy it, it'll make you want to work out! I'm giving it a 4 star rating so that 5 stars means something, but it's still great. Now where did I put those weights?

Not as good as their self titled album, but you still get the insane, ripping tracks that kick your ass over and over again. If you are a big fan of out cold, definatley buy this. If you are just getting into them, buy their self titled album.
