i dont normally listen to melodic, kinda poppunkish shit like drexel plays, but drexel is an amazing band. this cd shows tons of growth from their other cd of theirs i have (their first, 'shot by lammi' split with big d and the kids table) and its got a lot more personality. more hardcore shit, more melodic shit, and just better. if you like well written music, by this cd

Simply put...an amazing cd!!! Drexel never ceases to amaze me. If you have never heard drexel before, then the best way to explain them is a wicked fast, melodically slow, hardcore rocking, thrash punk and soooo much more. They switch up styles constantly (sometimes in the same song) which makes for an intense cd. One thing that I found incredible about this cd is that in some songs a slow guitar beat would start, and then the drums pick up fast as hell!!!(by the way the drummer for Drexel..sorry I dont know his name...is probably the best I have ever heard, in fact the drumming alone is enough reason to buy this cd!) However...the album only gets four stars simply because its not up to snuff compared to their split with ska band Big D (shout out to the D). Each song averages about 5 minutes so despite the fact that theres a small number of tracks on this cd, its enough to keep you really entertained. In short, if you've never heard Drexel get "Shot by Lammi" but if you already got that then definately shell out a couple bucks and pick up this masterpiece.
