This is a pretty good album, I own the album released after this, but not the first release. This album actually has a few songs that are on 'It's not what you say...' but are older and with some scratchier vocals (which isn't a bad thing at all) This also reminds of an older Fallout Boy sound too!

The Commercials second full length, and much better than 'First Time For Everything...' but not as good as 'It's Not What You Say...It's How You Say It'. The Commercials are a pop punk/emo band if you must from Mechiancsburg, PA. The album is quite catchy, but not there best work. 3 of the songs and the cover art for the disc are on 'It's Not What You Say...' which I would say buy first from this band because that is their best work. But if you are already a fan you have to admit they have matured and progressed into something better. It is too bad they broke up and some members formed Amarie Coma.

this is an unbelievable record. i can't say enough good things about it. it's a special sound you don't hear every day... and that's quite rare in these days. no, they don't redefine music, but they simply kick ass. slow songs, fast songs, two singers, a lot of stop's and go's, anything you want! there's so much EMOtion into the songs, you just wanna sing and scream along. if you dig anything like my hotel year, garrison or just rock n roll music you have to go out and get this. intense music doesn't get better than this!
