I'm usually not a huge fan of comps but I bought this for In the Red and was pleasantly surprised. Well worth the 8 bucks, my favorites where A Global Threat, and The Unseen. The Toxic Narcotic tracks all sound alike after the first and the other two bands don't really standout but aren't horrible.

Good CD. The Statistics and A Poor Excuse suck. The Other Bands are good though. Not worth 8 bux, more like 3, or more reasonable 5. Anyways, if you have money, or your a rich bastard, and you just fuckin' buy shit cuz it looks cool, then buy this. But if your like me, and actually thought all the bands were good im warning you know, half the cd is shit. But the rest is good, buy it for the casualties, and AGT, and maybe the unseen. Or better yet just buy one of there cds.

This is one of the best Comps. i have bought. You can't really go wrong with a global threat, toxic narcotic, and the unseen. The statistics and a poor excuse are both really good too, unless you don't like street punk. So if you like street punk, buy it. If you don't like street punk, you suck.

Four classic 7" EPs on one CD for a cheap price - now that's a bargain! Want to get some of the early stuff from Toxic Narcotic, The Unseen, and A Global Threat but don't have a record player? Well, here you go champ! The Statistics and A Poor Excuse are great bands too. In short, this is a very goooood CD.

I bought this CD because the Unseen and A Global Threat are both good. The first songs by Toxic Narcotic really sucked. They weren't very punk at all, they were just hardcore thrash metal. The lyrics to "People Suck" were funny, but I won't give them any more credit than that. The Unseen songs weren't bad but it sucks that there were only 2 of them. They are older Unseen songs so they have that hardcore sound they used to have. Then A Global Threat was my favorite band on this comp. The songs all sounded great, my favorite was "Smoke up your ass". The Statistics were Ok. They weren't really good, so I am not gonna say they kick ass or anything like that, but they were good. A Poor Excuse was great, they reminded me of Exploited a lot. They've got that old-school hardcore sound. Some of their songs are like 30 seconds though. This isn't the best comp out there. I think it really isn't worth the $8. If you want a good comp get the PunkCore records sampler, its like $4 and its really good. It has Unseen and Global Threat on there, and a lot of other good bands and its so much cheaper so if you don't have that I would recommend it instead of the Boston comp.

Good comp. The only songs that I like on this comp are the songs from the Unseen and A Global Threat. The first song from toxic narcotic was ok but the other two sound too much alike. The Statistics r fine but in my opinion they lack skills and originality. Then Poor Excuse just sucks but they remind me of the Dead Kennedys for some reason. Buy this If you've never heard these Unseen or Agt songs before. They rock.
