After four years of hard work, including several records and a spot on Warped Tour, spishak is back with a brand new 30-track CD. This album is an accurate reflection of how far they have come in their career. With guest performances by cello virtuoso Andrew Miller (The PA Chamber Orchestra), and tuba guru Alan Kasameyer (former bass player of Your Mother), perfecting the art of failure proves that perseverance and longevity have honed a band that knows how to make a damn good album. From punk to emo to whatever else this may have, this album is fucking great. Brand new studio tracks coupled with rare live performances give this bargain CD the value of three separate full-length recordings. It is the final album featuring spishak's original lineup. Mastered by the legendary Andy Ernst (Green Day, AFI, Link 80, etc.), it's worth the wait, worth the hassle, and definitely worth more than its meager price.

a much more mature spishak release...kind of disappointing that there's only 10.5 new songs, but you do get some superrad live stuff...and the songs on here are slightly different (subject wise) more mature...blah blah blah...teh songs are about growing up and coming to terms with change, but they're still fast, so its all good for the return SPishak fans. i'm just rambling at this point, but the album

After listening to SPiSHAK's previous attempts, I thought they were okay, but not great. I still had faith in them though, and believed that eventually they would make an album that was a masterpiece. Well, with this album they have definately proved to have done it. This will go in my CD collection as one of the best five albums I have heard in years. Like other CDs that are my favorite, this album will never get old to me. You listen to their other albums, then you listen to this one, and you think... "What happened?"... you know? It's just so good. You'd be mad to not get this CD. I was angry when I first heard they had to cut half the tracks, but upon hearing this album, It's okay with me, because what they've included is fine enough! The first track even sounds early Staind-esque! Anyway, I sound like a broken record. Just get this fuckin' album RIGHT NOW!!!!!!
