A 30 band 'DIY' comp cd...keeping the punk ethic of cheap/no frills releases...a sentiment sadly lacking from a lot of the so called punk bands/labels. This has some pretty fuckin' good bands on Sick Shift/Side Out/Burnside/Crash 81/Just like you/3rd man in/etc....A few listens and you'll wonder why a lot of these bands don't have the recognition they deserve...Buy this now, never mind shit like NOFX/RANCID/AVENGED SEVENFOLD/SCREECHING WEASEL et al....THIS is punk

I'm always up for trying different labels i see, never heard of Out Of Step until i came across this one... I thought I'd give it a try. It was truly worth the $3.50 I paid for it! It's really awesome. Somewhat the perfect skate cd because of it being fast. Highly Recomended!

I bought this comp. because it was cheap, like most comps I buy. Compilations are the best, numerous bands and songs for great prices. This one is no exception, good compilation featuring two awesome bands, Unsung Zeros and Anti-Flag. Definitely worth the few bucks it costs, pick it up!

i've had much better comps, but this one was still pretty good, being $3.50 only helped its cause. Most of the songs were mediocre, but some were very good, namely(of course) the Anti-Flag track.

There are a lot of problems with the bands on the is comp. Most of them seem like "cookie cutter" pop-punk bands. You know what im talking about; annoying songs about girlfriends, about breakups, and most of the music is pretty predictable. Although there are a few tracks that stand out. Track 2 ,Lucky Strike, has a female vocalist, and it rocks.3, boy kicks girl, is good, good vocals, including backup. 4, 5-cent deposit, is fairly good, good melody. 14, Kalifornia Redemption, this song is different from anything ive heard before, sounds like the Offspring on speed, and in a car chase. 15, SUPERSiFT, the only thing good about this bands' song is the drums. 18, Glenn's Army. this is great, very snotty and angst ridden. 30 is the best band though,ANTI FLAG! This is a good song, buy the cd for this one.

Being the extremely cheap bastard I am, I went looking around Interpunk for cheap CD's. I stumbled across this one and saw the beautiful $3.50 pricing and automatically added it to my empty shopping cart. (By the way, afterward I got two other CD's in the same order.) A few days later the package arrived since Interpunk delivers crap so speedily and I opened it up. I held this CD in my hand as the colorful cover art beamed in my face and I became as giddy as a Catholic school girl. But about 70 minutes later, I had been enriched. This is truly a great comp. I found bands I didn't know about and heard some great songs from a few I already knew. I strongly, strongly suggest you buy this.

By the way... if you're looking for another cheap but great compilation CD, get "Taken From A High School Journal." It's the shiznit.
