Never Be Clever Again

206 15

Released on June 24, 2000

This item is not available for purchase. Sorry!

3rd release from this great band. Never be Clever again offers more of Downway's melodic punk, with speedy riffs and hooks in all the right places. Often compared to older Face to Face.

The 3rd album of Downway is as Downway always does, fast and catchy melodic hardcore always in the line of good canadian legacy does, this album is a little more fast like the succesor Kacknacker, again we have in the best songs the first and to end the album the last one: Glory, must have album if you love the true skatepunk.

Downway's best album in my humble opinion. Their other CD's have always been hit or miss for me, but I can almost listen to this album beginning to end and not gravitate toward the 'skip' button except of a couple of useless filler tracks. WHY bands...why do you feel it's necessary to throw 45 seconds of filler in at some random point and break the flow of great music?!? I'll cease bitching now, buy this cd. Aside from my ranting point it's a good one.

Awesome Downway release! Downway still continues to roll with the fast melodic punk. Its a must if you own more of their records; this has a good recording quality. I also own Defeat songs and Downway Is As Downway Does. Like the description says, it's a good choice of comparing them to Face to Face, especially this release.
