Horrorpops

Hell Yeah! (Limited Edition Picture Disc)

(Features Kim Nekroman From Nekromantix)

Erika 15

Released on March 2, 2004

This item is not available for purchase. Sorry!

The HorrorPops are a straight up Rock 'n Roll band with their roots buried deep in 80's new wave, old-school punk and 50's rockabilly. The band is led by patricia on slapping upright bass and lead vocals, features Kim Nekroman on guitar, and also stars the always late & sick duo: guitarist Karsten and drummer Niedermeier. Last but defiantly not least, the band is flanked by the totally rotten Go-Go dancers Mille & Kamilla.

If you like bands like Blondie, Siouxsie & the Banchees, The Ramones, The Cramps, The Nekromantix, Tiger Army, Reverend Horten Heat, Wanda Jackson, and/or Depeche Mode, then The HorrorPops new release "Hell Yeah!" is a must-have for your record collection!

Limited edition of 2,500!!

The pics on this vinyl are just as awesome as the music on it. It's a must-have for every true-blue Horrorpops fan. My favorite tracks are 'Ghouls' and 'Baby Lou Tattoo'. Listen to it. Love it. Lust it baby.

I had the vinyl LP for this, but the cover is so gorgeous that I had to get the pixy disc. And on the back it has the "Rotten Go Go's". I miss the old dancer :( This is a great album that was one of the best of 2004. You will enjoy this Psychobilly/New Wave fusion!

Playful, provocative, humorous, intelligent... that sums it up quite good. Horrorpops refuses to be placed in any specific genre, but elemenst of billy, punk rock and 80's pop-rock are all suitable descriptions of the elements that together makes up one of the greatest records I've bought lately.

For anyone who is just starting to get into psychobilly, this is a good first pick. Catchy songs hook you in, and before you know it, you'll be singing along with Pratricia, and dancing with the Gogos.

This is also a pretty great line up, you've got Nekroman, of the Nekromantix, Geoff Kresge of Tiger Army, the beatiful Pratricia, as well as neidermeier and the gogos. This is the new lineup, and not the one on the disc, but still!

If thats not enough for you, the look of this disc should be. This fabulous picture disc boasts the females in teh band proudly, and not too many people would argue that.

Very cool! This is a really solid record. I'm not quite sure if there is a song on here that I don't like...and if there is It's quickly overshadowed by the rest of the record. Very good bass-playin' too. I'm not sure if all the hype about this record being for fans of New Wave and Blondie, etc. is true...but I'll say this: If you like Psychobilly, GET THIS RECORD! Plus vinyl is way cooler than cd's...especially if it has pictures of pretty psychobilly-bitch chicks on it.
