Destroyed By Your Own Device

Six Weeks 85

Released on March 2, 2004

This Bay area hardcore act are already known for their insanely chaotic live shows and executing some of the best classic punk ala early DC hardcore with a dash of blazing fast thrash. If you didn't know better, you might think this record came out in 1983.

I love this band! If you like early 80s hardcore punk à la Void, Jerry's Kids, Faith and so on, then you will love Deadfall too! While it might be imagined that their sound is only a replica of an old gone style, Deadfall manage to inject enough passion and honesty into their music to make it sound fresh and completely believable. I'm impressed.
